Sociogenomics workshop 2023

A workshop on social science genomics will be organized by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, in Helsinki, 4-7 September 2023. Please find the registration form for a four-day event, here, and the full announcement here.

The workshop features an introduction to sociogenomics as well as a presentation of the outstanding INVEST data opportunity. It covers advanced topics regarding methods such as MR in theory and practice, the integration of genetic and family data, as well as various applications on themes across stratification and health research.

The line-up features all-star keynotes such as Jani Erola (University of Turku), Eleanor Sanderson (University of Bristol), Andrea Ganna (University of Helsinki), Rosa Cheeseman (Norwegian Institute of Public Health) and Perline Demange (Free University of Amsterdam).
