Kirsi Peltonen has expertise in randomized controlled intervention trials and quasi-experimental studies. Her research interests are related to children’s wellbeing in adverse conditions, such as war and violence. Especially she has studied mental health interventions targeted to refugee children and adolescents. She has lead multiple projects funded by EU and Academy of Finland. When she’s not working you can find her walking in the forest or watching the theatre.
