How does research make a real impact on society? What can researchers do to strengthen their interaction with society?

We have decided to create a new network that will bring together INVEST researchers interested in learning more about the societal impact of research. The network will meet about every two months and is open to all INVEST staff. At the meetings, we’ll discuss, share experiences and learn from each other.

We’ll launch the network on 10 March. To kick off the conversation, we’ll hear short presentations from Pasi Moisio and Susan Kuivalainen. Afterwards we’ll continue with open discussion and, to make it more fun, ice cream and a glass of sparkling wine. At the end of the day, we can continue together for after-work refreshments.
