Professor Rose Marie Azzopardi will be visiting us on an Erasmus+ visit on 15–19 April and giving two seminars.

Prof Rose Marie Azzopardi focuses her research on women in the labour market.  She graduated Diploma in Public Administration and B.A. in Economics and Social Studies, both from the University of Malta.  Her M.A is in European Studies and her Ph.D in Economic Integration, both from the University of Sussex, UK.  She lectures International Economics, Economics of Innovation, Creativity and Knowledge, and European Monetary Union at the undergraduate level and the Global Economy, and Labour Economics at the post-graduate level.  She is the co-ordinator of the Platform for MIgration, which incorporates cross-discipline research on migration across the University of Malta.  She is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Small Islands Studies Association, a Director on the Board of the Malta Development Bank and a Member of the Consultative Retail Price Index Board.  She is also a member of the management committee of two cost action projects: one on Parental Leave and the other on Platform Work.
