Institut International de Lancy's KiVa team

KiVa program has a new licensed partner in Switzerland

Institut International de Lancy (IIL) becomes an official KiVa licensed partner for French and English-speaking schools in Switzerland, as well as for schools belonging to the Catholic School Network in France and the Odyssey group.

Founded in 1903, the Institut International de Lancy (IIL) is a leading private school in Geneva, Switzerland. IIL focuses on academic excellence and the personal development of its students, enabling them to develop their full potential and build knowledge that will accompany them throughout their lives. IIL brings together students and staff from all cultures, nationalities, languages and religious backgrounds around a common vision. IIL offers bilingual, French and English education and welcomes students from preschool to secondary school, aged 3 to 19.

Through this partnership, KiVa Unit 3, targeting students from 13 to 16 years old, will be produced in French language, offering the possibility for schools located in France, and part of the Catholic School Network, to also start implementing the program.

– We are very excited to expand our collaboration with the Institut International de Lancy, which as a KiVa school has implemented the program remarkably. Thanks to their expertise and ambition, all English and French speaking schools in Switzerland will have the possibility to start implementing the program as soon as from September 2023. In addition, IIL is now our licensed partner to France for the schools part of the Catholic Schools Network, which is a market we have meant to satisfy already for some time, says Anna Murgo, Deputy International Program Manager, KiVa international.

– More than a school, the Institut International de Lancy is a community in which children can grow, learn, develop their intellectual curiosity and be inspired by the values of respect and tolerance specific to our school and also promoted by the KiVa antibullying program. IIL has been the first KiVa accredited school in Switzerland. Today, we are proud to be able to support schools in implementing such a comprehensive program which addresses school bullying through prevention, intervention and monitoring and help every child feel safe and protected in the school environment, says Monique Roiné, General Director, IIL.
