Aki Koivula is a Doctor of Social Science and hold the title of docent in Economic Sociology. He has expertise in randomized survey experiments. His research interest is related to digital participation and interaction, social networks and relationships, and relationship between citizens and public institutions. Especially, he has studied the social impacts of Covid-19, the effects of media consumption, trust in political institutions, and experiences and norms related to physical appearance. When he is not working, you can find him playing football with his son.
