Christina Salmivalli

Christina Salmivalli is a professor of psychology and the deputy head of the INVEST Flagship at the University of Turku in Finland. She earned her doctoral degree in psychology from the University of Turku in 1998. Her research, on social and personality factors of school bullying, won the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters doctoral dissertation award in 1999. In 2017, she was the recipient of the Finnish Science Award. Salmivalli has held several visiting professorships, including positions at the University of Stavanger in Norway, at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia, and at Shandong Normal University in Jinan, China. (edited)
