Tolga has expertise in the evaluation of interventions and quasi-experimental studies. His research interests are focused on exploring the consequences of the interaction between culture and institutions. In particular, he has conducted research on the role of religious institutions in schooling decisions and political behavior. When he is not working, you can find him playing football, unless the weather is too cold outside in Finland.
