* Student fees apply to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students. Please present your student card/certification upon arrival to the conference.
**The Conference dinner will take place at Restaurant Grädda. The dinner fee includes a three-course dinner and drinks. More information about the dinner in the “Social Program”-page
Registration
Please note that there is a separate registration link for the staff, DPInvest PhD Students, and Visiting Fellows of the INVEST Flagship. You have received it via email, including in the Weekly newsletter. If you need the link, you can request it at invest-conference@utu.fi.
Note! After filling out the Conference registration form, please scroll down to the bottom of the page. The payment link will only appear there after you have completed the registration. Please make sure to complete the payment to secure your spot at the event. Also, please note that there is no possibility to pay the fee on arrival.
INVEST Conference Registration Fees Include
- Attendance at the scientific programme on May 15–16
- Conference materials, as well as morning and afternoon coffee and lunch on the conference days (as indicated in the programme)
- Opportunity to attend the pre-conference Open Science and Impact Festival on Wednesday, May 14 (separate registration required, opens 24 February)
- Guided tour at the Museum of Archaeology and Contemporary Art, Aboa Vetus Ars Nova, on Wednesday, May 14
- Welcome reception on Wednesday, May 14
- Option to attend the conference dinner on Thursday, May 15 (additional fee: €50, incl. 25.5% VAT)
- Opportunity to book accommodation at a special conference rate
- Free transportation on the city’s Föli buses and water bus
The registration fees are not subject to VAT, except for the conference dinner, which is subject to 25.5% VAT.
Confirmation of registration
You will receive a confirmation to your email after you have submitted your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your junk email folder just in case. You may also contact mailto:invest-conference@utu.fi.
Methods of payment
1) Credit card payment
On the registration form, choose the credit card payment and fill in the payment card details. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*
2) Online bank payment (for Finnish/Nordic banks only)
On the registration form, choose your bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*
3) Mobile Payment apps
Payments can be made via Siirto and MobilePay
Change of the participant
At any time after registration, in case you will be unable to attend for any reason, you will have the opportunity to send a colleague in your place with no additional cost. In such case, please contact invest-conference@utu.fi as soon as possible.
Cancellation policy & insurance
Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to invest-conference@utu.fi before 14 April 2025. No fees will be refunded after this date. A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.
